The Sisters
Claudia from Switzerland and Kirsten from the Netherlands met 10 years ago in a children's home in a very small town in a poor region in South India. They both signed up to volunteer there for 6 weeks. From the children to the beautiful surroundings, the experience touched them so much that they come back to that special place every year; as they have done for the past 10 years! Together they have already kickstarted many small projects.
For example, buying a brand new rickshaw for another remote children's home that had no transport for the children. The children staying in these orphanages started calling them sister and sister, and thus the name for the foundation was born.

How did it all start
In 2020 they met Jesuraj from Massngo.org, who explained the situation regarding the many children infected with HIV in the region and the imporant work that Massng.org does. Meeting those children, hearing their personal stories and everything they have to deal with on a daily basis left a big impression on them. They decided to join forces with Massngo.org to make a difference in the lives of those children and their families, and so sisterandsister.org was founded.
